A statement necklace pairing a large Taiwan-made etched agate dzi bead with a full strand of hand-carved Tibetan bone beads.
The dzi bead combines Heaven & Earth and cloud motifs, with a crackled “dragon skin” weathering finish made to resemble the aged surface of old Himalayan agate. Each bone bead is hand-carved with dzi-style symbols.
Dzi beads are traditionally worn to ward off negative energy and bring good fortune, and the Heaven & Earth pattern symbolises the union of the spiritual and physical worlds. In Tibetan culture, bone beads serve as a reminder of impermanence.
